The Tailor’s House is located on Delle Cartiere Street, a short walk from the picturesque Ferriere Valley and opposite the well-known Paper Museum. Far from the hustle and bustle, La Casa del Sarto fits into one of Amalfi’s most charming places, where the ancient village joins its most natural soul, yet is at the same time very close to the town center. The apartment is located about 500mt from Amalfi Cathedral and the sea. Its location makes it possible to visit all places of interest, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
Why La Casa del Sarto
about us
My name is Gennaro, I am an architect from Amalfi, and I wanted to name our apartment after him for a twofold reason:
for two reasons: the first is emotional, as my family has historically been intrinsically linked to the noble craft of tailoring; the second is that the house was conceived precisely as a piece of tailoring
Indeed, all the furnishings and details are unique, crafted to my designs by skilled artisans with the utmost
attention to the surroundings, the design, the use of natural materials and colours – all tailor-made to meet the
needs of our guests.
Casa del Sarto aims to be more than just a holiday home in Amalfi. This flat
represents an attempt to bring to life a concept of hospitality that goes beyond a simple stay; an
evocative, refined and comfortable space, capable of evoking pleasant feelings and which will make you
fall in love with your holiday in Amalfi.
